"Columbine" Lockheed VC-121A Constellation
The VC-121A was a variant of the Constellation used by U.S. Air Force, and regularly carried high-ranking Generals and Presidents.
This particular Constellation was Dwight D. Eisenhower's personal transport and was named 'Columbine' by him after the state flower of Colorado, his home state.
The aircraft now resides in the Arizona Desert near Tucson Arizona, at the Pima Air and Space Museum.
