Canadair CL-415 Water Bomber of the Quebec Société de protection des forêts contre le feu/ Society for the protection against forest fires (SOPFEU).
The SOPFEU fleet is comprised of 14 fixed wing air tankers including the Canadair CL-215 and CL-415 "Super Scooper" water bombers.
The CL-415 water bomber is a heavy amphibious aircraft purpose-built for collecting large quantities of water from natural water bodies, such as lakes, and dropping the water from the air onto forest fires.
